Kuchu Times would like to thank everyone who has so graciously donated to the campaign aimed at raising funds for the publication of the second issue of Bombastic Magazine. The campaign which was intended to raise $5,000 went over and beyond and racked in $8, 296.

“We are humbled by your generosity and words cannot be enough to express how grateful we are for keeping this dream alive. We pledge to use every last cent for the very reason you have given us your hard earned money. May you receive a thousand fold of what you have shared with us; we are forever indebted,” Vincent, the Programmes Coordinator at Kuchu Times said as the campaign closed last week.

The second issue of Bombastic will be distributed in January 2016 and will encompass more real life experiences of sexual minorities with a focus on education, religion, law and advocacy, the journey of the Ugandan LGBTI movement, societal conception of LGBTI persons, fashion, politics, sports, health as well as possible solutions to issues that continue to affect this marginalized community.

Please be reminded that you can contribute to the second issue of Bombastic, by sending your stories editor@kuchutimes.com and info@kuchutimes.com. You can also suggest a topic of your own choice, as long as it is related to perspectives of LGBTI people.
