Bob Bwana was born on 8th June. He is an accountant by profession and a human rights activist. In 2009, Bob joined Ice Breakers Uganda an organisation that advocates for the rights of LGBTIQ people in fields of health and human rights as the office administrator and still serves in the same position currently. Bwana has served as Board Chair for MARPS Network since 2011. He is also a certified peer leader who has used this status together with other peer leaders in the gender and sexual minority movement in Uganda to voice out various health concerns for these marginalized communities at the national level through engagements with some state actors especially from the ministry of health.
