Researcher

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake research related to identify the manner in which the COVID-19 pandemic affects the lives of LBQ womxn in the SADC region. These countries (7) were chosen based on factors such as the number of positive cases of COVID-19, the history of the country with handling pandemics, accessibility to participants et al, to identify challenges faced by LBQ womxn during the COVID-19 crisis and ways through which they can be supported, as well as contribute to evidence based and local research on COVID-19.

Policy, Research & Advocacy Officer

The Policy, Research and Advocacy Officer will support the organisation and management of events, meetings and campaigns to ensure the implementation of the research, policy and advocacy plan regionally. The officer will also support and develop the capacity of the member organisations to generate materials and conduct other desk-based research and policy analyses and provide strategic support.

Programme Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (PMEL) Officer

The PMEL Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation’s Programs are supported through planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning activities. The role therefore, will contribute to overall program quality through the conceptualization, coordination, and implementation of enhanced monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning strategies, including developing high quality written products. The emphasis is on streamlining processes and tools for program reach, efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability throughout the project cycle across the various the organisation’s focus areas. The Programme Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer post will be currently working remotely, and they will work under the overall leadership and supervision of the Programme Manager.

Communications Officer

We are looking for an experienced Communications Officer to create and implement communications strategies – someone who can promote brand, interact with the public and establish productive relationships with key stakeholders and policymakers. The successful candidate should be excited about developing and implementing plans to engage target audiences and spread the message about our strategic objectives.
