CANADIAN WRITER TO PUBLISH BOOK FOCUSING ON PRIDE FOR CHILDREN

Canadian writer Robin Stevenson is bridging the gap and bringing her two cents to the struggle for LGBTI rights by publishing a book about Pride Day for Children. The publication titled PRIDE: Celebrating Diversity and Community targets children between 14 and 16 years of age and will hopefully be in both USA and Canadian libraries by Spring 2016.

I AM NOT READY OR AM I?

I have lived more than twice; a sane person would assume I speak of a life busting at its seams. I am not and barely eighteen years old. My 18th birthday was a week and half ago- the first time life became more than I could handle.

I slit my wrists and bled to death beneath a bridge or so I thought. Yet I came back to the same path with the faintest of memories and the heaviest sense of déjà vu toward every major decision.

International AIDS Conference Scholarships Available

MSMGF would like to remind and encourage all of our stakeholders and community members to apply for financial aid scholarships for the 2016 International AIDS conference in Durban, South Africa on July 18-22. Completed applications with a letter of recommendation are due by February 12th. This years the International AIDS Society (IAS) is giving out twice as many scholarships as in previous years (approximately 1000). The MSMGF preconference registration will also be available at http://www.aids2016.org in February. The MSMGF preconference is on July 16th, 2 days before the main conference begins. It is free to attend once you are registered for the main conference and the preconference.
