A Conversation with Kasha Jacqueline Nabagesera, founder of Freedom and Roam Uganda

Sometimes we activists are so much focused on our own struggles that we forget about other struggles around the world. This is a way to expand my knowledge. I seek tactical knowledge and connections and networks. I’ve met so many people I know I’m going to continue dialoguing with. People I know I’ll meet again. For me it’s more than just getting a free ticket and sleeping in a nice hotel. It’s actually overwhelming for me — I’m filled with so much knowledge, and also emotions.
