InterPride, the International Association of LGBTI Pride Organizers, announces the opening of the 2015 grant cycle for its Solidarity Fund.
Through the Solidarity Fund, InterPride makes small grants to organizations that are helping to create positive change and promote a better understanding of LGBTI communities around the globe. The focus of the fund is on community-based events in portions of the world where public LGBTI events face challenges and hostility.
In 2015, InterPride aims to make up to 5 grant awards of up to $2,000 US apiece. To learn more about the Solidarity Fund or to complete a grant application, please visit the Solidarity page on InterPride’s website by clicking here. Applications are due by April 30, 2015.
The Solidarity Fund is supported through the generous donations of individuals and organizations. In particular, many Pride organizations that are members of InterPride make generous annual contributions to the fund.
If you interested in assisting those struggling in regions that are hostile or challenging for LGBTI organizers by contributing to the Solidarity Fund, please email [email protected].
