QuestPro-Women Foundation (QWF) is thrilled to announce the call for applications for the 2025 edition of the QuestPro Leadership Academy; a transformative leadership experience designed by and for African LBTIQ women leaders.

About QuestPro-Women Foundation

Founded in 2019, QuestPro-Women Foundation (QWF) is a regional Pan-African feminist organization that responds to persistent gender and sexuality-based disparities affecting young LBTIQ+ women across Africa. Through a mission rooted in empowerment and social justice, QWF champions the meaningful participation of queer women in HIV response, health, human rights, and decision-making spaces.

Operating through an intersectional feminist framework, QWF works across key thematic areas including:

  • Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

  • Gender-Based Violence (SGBV)

  • Queer Women in STEM

  • Climate Justice

  • Leadership Development

  • Economic Empowerment

  • Safety, Security & Protection

The QuestPro Leadership Academy is a powerful incubator created to equip emerging LBTIQ leaders with the tools, networks, and strategies needed to elevate their advocacy and ignite collective action.

Who Should Apply?

We’re looking for passionate and courageous leaders who are:

  • LBTIQ women activists currently based in Africa

  • Queer women human rights defenders using creative arts, culture, or digital innovation in their advocacy

  • Emerging leaders ready to amplify their voices, strengthen their practice, and grow their impact

  • First-time applicants who have not previously participated in the Leadership Academy
