#AskKashaUG: Kasha to Hold Live Social Media Engagement on LGBTI work in Uganda

Are you a follower of human rights defender Kasha Jacqueline Nabagesera’s activism work? Would you love to interact with her or ask her about her work? Well, now is your chance!!

Kasha will, on Friday 24th February2017, hold a two way interaction session with her followers; she will be answering all your queries pertaining to her work as a feminist and defender of human rights for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) persons.

The session will be held in commemoration of the day the Anti Homosexuality Act was signed into law by the president of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni; this day marked the start of a seven months journey of gruesome legal activity that eventually saw the law struck down by the Constitutional court of Ugandan in which Kasha was among the 10 petitioners.

The twelve hour session will start at 12:00-00:00 East African Time.  To be able to engage with as many of her followers as possible, Kasha will be using Twitter, her public Facebook page as well as the Kuchu Times official Facebook and Twitter pages, whose links are provided below.  Remember to use the hash tag #AskKashaUG
