My dream is a society where all people are merely people without boxes, I dream of a conversation that goes “Hi my name is so and so, lets socialize,” without questions like are you gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, Ugandan, Christian or Muslim; these boxes exist to further separate us.

The government of Botswana yesterday announced the deportation of the head Pastor of Ariaona based Faithful Word Baptist Church, Steven Anderson. The President of the South African nation ordered the arrest and immediate deportation of the hate speech preacher after Anderson said gay people deserve to be killed; the pastor said this while giving an interview to a radio station, Gabs in Gabarone.
‘Gays Recruiting in Schools,’ tabloid headlines have so often read and understandably, the nation has panicked. Being fed with the wrong information coupled with lack of education on LGBTI issues has only worked in the favour of anti gay propagandists who continue to push the recruitment agenda down peoples’ throats.
The scholarships are available for undergrad or post-grad tertiary education study where the chosen field of study will equip the student to pursue a career with the objective of business leadership. There are no set rules about the study and the students are to motivate why their chosen field of study fits with the organisation’s objectives.
“The LGBTI community has reached a point where we must acquire skills for self sustenance. We can nolonger rely on funders or organisations to figure our lives out for us. Such initiatives will help us develop as a community and this will eventually translate into poverty eradication and self education,” Luswata said at the launch of the digital resource centre.
Pastor Steven Anderson, the senior Pastor at Faithful Word Baptist Church in Arizona was set to visit South Africa on a ‘soul-winning’ mission. Several home activists and organisations like All Out started a petition to stop Anderson’s entry into South Africa
Not one to shy away from defending LGBTI rights, the projects 1000th face, Archbishop Desmond Tutu calls upon the world to be civil and accepting of gender and sexual minorities. The mental health program uses counselling and counsellor-led activities such as group therapies. We are looking for a psychologist to lead mental health activities. The successful candidate will undergo probation for a period of three months (October 2016- December 2016); after which he/she will be our lead counsellor in the mental health programs in 2017 upon satisfactory performance.

She further explained that the objectives of the event were to share ideas, knowledge and experiences for social communal change, develop cooperation and partnerships between community members and different service providers, create a platform for communication through visual and performing arts.
